The deciding factor in my decision to join Fujiseiki was the strong sense that I would be able to experience firsthand the fulfillment that comes from knowing that the products made by the machines I develop become an indispensable part of people’s daily lives as food.

Food is something that everyone, regardless of age or gender, consumes every day.
Seeing the machines I developed actually operating in factories, and then seeing the onigiri and lunch boxes made with them lining store shelves—being able to witness that scene in everyday life is the ultimate sense of accomplishment for a developer.

I am responsible for the new mechanical development of machinery primarily used to manufacture lunch boxes.
Our role is to gather customer requirements, develop concepts within the team, and go through prototyping, verification, and finally mass production to create machines that truly delight our customers.

Since we are involved in a wide range of tasks—from CAD design to assembling and machining parts we design ourselves—a broad technical skill set is required. However, with a supportive environment, as well as supervisors and colleagues to consult with, there is nothing to worry about.

Seeing products made by the machines I’ve developed on store shelves gives me a strong sense of fulfillment and naturally brings a smile to my face.

Our company operates an integrated system in which all processes—from sales and development to manufacturing—are handled in-house.
By managing everything internally, we've created an environment where it is easy to consult with and exchange ideas across departments.

While opinions may sometimes differ, this reflects our strong shared commitment to providing machinery that truly delights our customers.

While our machines are well known in Japan, our recognition overseas is still limited, and we have not yet been able to support food cultures around the world.

There are also standards and regulations for machinery exported overseas, which require a shift in mindset compared to domestic product development.

However, expanding into overseas markets is something we must pursue going forward. To that end, my key goal is to develop machinery capable of succeeding globally and to support food cultures around the world, not only in Japan.
