Reason for Joining

I thought I’d be able to get involved in technical manufacturing!

While I was job hunting during my university days, focusing on manufacturing companies in Fukuoka City, I was drawn to a booth at a university career fair that featured a large rice ball sculpture.
Listening to their presentation was how I first learned about Fujiseiki.
I still remember being very surprised to learn that the headquarters of a machinery manufacturer producing the onigiri I casually see at convenience stores and the sushi rice used in restaurants is located in Fukuoka.

Since my student days,I have wanted to support people like the craftsmen who are involved in manufacturing, when I learned there is a department where I could be involved in technical aspects of manufacturing—even in an administrative role—beyond document preparation, I found it very appealing. At the same time, the HR representative’s warm personality gave me the impression that the company as a whole has a positive and welcoming atmosphere, which ultimately became the deciding factor in my decision to join Fujiseiki.

The Rewards of Supporting Machine Development

I provide support to the machine development team.
My main task is creating part drawings using CAD software, but I also handle a variety of other duties, such as preparing sales materials (including parts lists),ordering parts, processing work orders and invoices, and creating instruction manuals.

When I first joined the department, I struggled with CAD software and technical terminology. However, seeing the parts Idesigned functioning as part of an actual machine gives me a great sense of satisfaction.

The Development and Design Department I belong to serves as the backbone of the company, involved in every stage from concept design to completion, delivery, and after-sales service. Because of this, we work closely with many other departments, and I feel that our team is highly relied upon.

I work closely with the mechanical engineers who have the deepest knowledge of the machines, and I strive to contribute through smooth daily collaboration.

About Fujiseiki

A Workplace Where You Can Grow with Confidence, Even Without Experience

It’s a very friendly environment where it’s easy to ask questions, regardless of whether someone is a supervisor, senior colleague, or junior colleague.
Since I was assigned to a technical department after graduating from a liberal arts university, I started with absolutely no prior knowledge, but I have always been supported by senior colleagues who are willing to think through problems with me whenever I face difficulties.

Future Goals

Support that thinks one step ahead

Going forward, I aim to become an administrative professional who can provide proactive support to ensure that designers’ work proceeds smoothly.
Even in daily tasks like drawing management and document preparation, I want to maintain a mindset of continuous improvement and help create an environment where designers can focus on their core work.
I also aim to value collaboration with those around me and grow into a trusted support role.
