The deciding factor for joining the company was its over 80% domestic market share in onigiri machines, and my desire to be involved in work that supports Japan’s food culture. I also wanted to contribute as a member of the team to creating products that are closely connected to people’s daily lives.

I am currently in charge of on-site improvement initiatives.
To enhance the accuracy of in-house machine quality inspections, I am working to standardize our processes.

Together with the production floor, we are quantifying aspects that were previously judged based on human intuition and developing a system that ensures consistent results regardless of who performs the inspection.

In addition, I am working to promote digital transformation (DX) to streamline internal operations. By visualizing and improving workflows, I aim to create a more efficient and comfortable working environment on the shop floor.

There is a culture that values time-honored traditions while actively embracing new ideas and systems, creating an environment where change can be enjoyed.

There are many instances where I am encouraged with a ‘let’s just give it a try’ mindset, making it easy to take on challenges, and allowing me to work with excitement every day.

Going forward, we plan not only to further improve inspection accuracy but also to focus on training our inspectors. To that end, we aim to develop inspection manuals and training curricula to establish a system that enables anyone to consistently maintain the same high quality standards.
