An interest in manufacturing sparked by a love of rice
As someone who loves rice, and given that this is a food machinery manufacturer specializing in rice processing, I felt I could work here with genuine interest.
Additionally, the Manufacturing Department I’m part of doesn’t require transfers, the company is headquartered in Fukuoka, overtime pay is provided for any hours worked beyond the standard, and there’s an employee cafeteria—all of which led me to believe I could work here with stability.
Building Trust Through Every Step, From Assembly to Installation
I am involved in machine assembly, providing assembly guidance to partner companies, machine inspections, installation of delivered machines, post-delivery maintenance of delivered machines, and in-house projects.
When the machines I’ve assembled are used in inspection processes or at customer sites, I sometimes receive feedback saying, “It ran smoothly without any adjustments needed,” and those words give me confidence and a sense of fulfillment.
I also feel a deep sense of fulfillment when, after identifying the cause of a machine malfunction at a customer site and resolving the issue, I see production running smoothly as usual.
A company where you can learn as much as you want, regardless of your department, as long as you have the drive to improve
During a certain project, I had the opportunity to work in a field outside my area of expertise.
At first, I struggled due to a lack of knowledge, but I learned by actively asking questions of colleagues in related departments. As a result, by the time the project was completed, I had acquired new skills.
From this experience, I felt that this is a company where you can grow without being limited by your department.

Whenever I’m on a business trip or traveling, I find myself checking the labels on the back of rice balls at convenience stores in different prefectures to see which company sold them and how they were packaged (lol).
