Contribute to more people through technology that supports “food”
I’ve loved onigiri since I was a child and would often pick them up without a second thought at convenience stores or supermarkets.
While I was job hunting, I happened to be eating an onigiri when I suddenly became curious about “how they are actually made”, and that’s how I came across Fujiseiki.
In my previous job, I worked in sales for a food manufacturer, but I didn't have many opportunities to see my proposals directly impacted people’s daily diets.
Fujiseiki, however, supports the very “production” of onigiri—a familiar food— and I was strongly drawn to the fact that my work would directly impact the diets of many people, which is why I decided to join the company.
Supporting the front lines and delivers results
Currently, I am responsible for both account management with existing clients and new business development.
With existing clients, I focus on building long-term relationships while proposing operational improvements.
Meanwhile, with new clients, I identify their challenges and needs to propose equipment that is tailored to their specific operations.
Since every client faces different challenges, finding the optimal solution can be difficult, and there are many moments when I find the work challenging.
However, when I work with clients to solve these challenges and they tell me, “I’m glad we implemented this equipment” after the equipment is up and running, I feel a great sense of fulfillment.
What I find most rewarding about this job is that my proposals lead to tangible results, such as improved efficiency and quality on the production floor.
An open and supporttive work environment
I believe that this is an environment where employees are encouraged to take on new challenges regardless of their age or experience.
What I find particularly appealing is the open and transparent atmosphere. Colleagues are close-knit, making it easy to communicate with one another.
There is a culture of mutual support, and I find it to be a welcoming and comfortable place to work.
Supporting the Food Industry with Fujiseiki’s Technology
Fujiseiki’s machinery has already been adopted by many customers, and its presence can be felt in everyday life.
With that in mind, I hope to help expand the number of places where Fujiseiki’s machinery is use through the proposals I make Looking ahead, my goal is to further expand products adoption while delivering value to even more customers, and to contribute as part of the team that supports the food industry.
