Direct-Roll Sandwich Rice Ball Line: Proposal for Reducing Labor by 3 Employees
Automated production of sandwich-style rice balls on a production line, capable of 3,000 units per hour! We propose a labor-saving solution that reduces staffing by three people through automatic filling, automatic shaping, and automatic packaging. The product is made by layering rice on top of rice. This shaping method maintains a plump, thick texture, enabling the production of high-quality rice balls.

Example of an automated rice ball production line in operation
By coordinating the operation of our machinery, we have achieved a manufacturing process that does not rely on manual labor. You can see for yourself how this minimizes variations in workmanship and ensures stable production with consistent quality.
Proprietary Technology
Reduces variations caused by manual work, ensuring consistent portion sizes and high productivity.
When the amount of filling in the hopper runs low, the system automatically adjusts the feeding operation via compensation control.
The unit is freestanding and can be moved along the production line.
This machine is ideal for developing new products, ranging from “soft molding” that maintains a fluffy texture and thickness to “sandwich molding” with a firm press, as well as “open-faced” rice balls with different fillings on the top and bottom.
Corrects the center position and spacing of rice balls that have become misaligned on the production line, ensuring reliable feeding.
Implementation Simulation
We will use a graph to clearly illustrate how staffing and costs change depending on the implementation plan.
